Introductory Package

"Every tourism authority with which I have worked has different needs, priorities and budgets. Every destination is different to photograph; every client is different to work with. It is because of this, that I provide a 10 day Introductory Assignment which will deliver 30 high quality images and familiarise me with your destination. It can be undertaken in isolation or it can become part of an on-going relationship to deliver a comprehensive image library on your destination and a range of additional benefits."

David recommends his association with a tourism authority begins with a 10 day Introductory Assignment. This has proved to be the most cost-effective and popular means by which the tourism authorities represented on David's web site have developed their image libraries.

Copyright of all photographs provided to the client will be signed over to your tourism authority in a simple License Agreement, a draft of which will be provided prior to commencement of the assignment.

This 10 day Introductory Package has been designed for tourism authorities who are commissioning David for the first time.

David will photograph your destination over 10 days according to a pre-determined Shot List we will draw up together for a total fee of AUD$7,000, plus associated expenses including airfares, film, accommodation and transport (most of which is generally met with industry assistance). Full details of the associated expenses of the assignment are provided on request. A detailed budget is also submitted and authorised, before the shoot commences. This package represents a savings of AUD$10,000 on David's standard commercial rate of AUD$1,500 a day.

The assignment will result in the provision to your tourism authority of 30 of the best photographs from the assignment. The images will be professionally drum scanned and provided on a customised, Photo CD free-of-charge (representing an additional saving of AUD$1,500). Between 60 and 100 additional images may also be loaded onto David's web site allowing you to select further images at a discounted rate. Included in the commissioned parcel (Sample below) is the photo CD with 30 images, an A3 print-out of the photographs and a License Agreement releasing the 30 images to the tourism authority to use for promotional purposes.

While the charge for David's Introductory Assignment is less than half his standard commercial fee, it is a concession he makes to expand his library and built new relationships with tourism authorities.

David also offers a special Pre-March package where a tourism authority that commissions an assignment before March 1 for any time in that same year receives a 50% savings on David's fee. A reduced rate 14 day and a 21 day package is also available - the costs and details of which are provided on request.
