In 2018, David will focus his energies on cruise ship photography, offering a special package to cruise ship operators anywhere in the world.

David has photographed several cruises and has developed a good working knowledge of the opportunities and challenges involved. Believing his extensive experience as a destination and resort photographer is well suited to the task, this year he has set about building on his reputation as the most widely published travel photographer in the Asia Pacific region to specialise in cruise ship photography. David has been commissioned by most national tourism authorities in the South Pacific and he photographed the Coral Princess cruise both in Papua New Guinea and The Great Barrier Reef and, most recently, the luxury vessel  True North (links below). He has also  been commissioned by Captain Cook Cruises in Fiji on several occasions and Carnival Cruises.  David has studied the world's best cruising photographs and he has purchased specialised photography equipment - including large format and underwater cameras and the latest drone - all of which are well suited to capturing exceptional scenery, lifestyle, culinary, aerial, people, underwater and activity images.

Beyond the photo assignment, operators may also be interested in working with David to establish their own on-line photo library similar to those he has developed for tourism authorities, or in developing a range of high quality souvenir or gift publications of their cruises.

Recognising the need to broaden his experience in this particular arena of travel photography, David is offering particularly generous packages and incentives to cruise operators who commission an assignment.
